CREEPY KITTY: The beautiful, broken and blond "Crystal Norris," played by Lindsay Pulsipher, transforms into a panther on HBO's True Blood (see above) which kicks off it's its fourth season Sunday.

But on a recent visit to Portland to promote her indie horror flick and Sundance selection, The Oregonian (no, it's not about the horrors of layoffs), Lindsay transformed into something else: an ESL instructor.

English, baby! is a Portland-based website that helps more than a million international students learn slang each month. They got a little help from Lindsay teaching "cat got your tongue" at her NW Film Center screening and Q&A earlier this month. That would be my buddy, Jason Simms, doing the interview. Great get, Jason!
