CHILL OUT: In honor of the new year a couple of dudes who are near and dear to my heart—photographer Tim Gunther and stylist/artist/crazy man Michael Merrill—pulled together a photo shoot exclusively for byronbeck.com with their own unique take on how to cover up this winter.

In terms of temperature and temperament the photos are really cool. And hot. Well, just take a look for yourself—and who knew athletic jockstraps were so “in” this season?
