OMG: Fighting Words and "The Daria, Mitch and Ted Show."
WTF? The following is a recent Facebook status update from Jordi Barnes.
She's a local actress and the wife of comedian/actor/radio DJ Ted Douglass. He is on The Buzz's Daria, Mitch and Ted Show.
Here is what Jordi's post says: "Cross your fingers for Ted. His boss is trying to censor the hell out of their show, presenting a new list of words they can't say. They had a sit-in on Friday, playing only music. Their fans are writing letters and doing what they can to show support. The Daria, Mitch and Ted show is perfect as-is. Tune in today: 105.1 The Buzz FM 3P. BOO CENSORSHIP."
I agree with Barnes and commend the DMT crew for standing up for themselves. As someone that always tried to take that too far on their show, I know that they are more than capable of understanding of what words they can and can't use.
