Where The Wild Things Are: Timmy's Big Debut at the Hotel Monaco

BOW WOW: Hotel Monaco introduced it's brand new "Director of Pet Relations" last night at a doggy-filled shin-dig.
A benefit for Portland's Guide Dogs For the Blind program the star of the night was Timmy, a yellow lab pictured above, who recently retired from the Guide Dog program and will now greet guests, both of the four-and-two-legged variety, at one of the city's most progressive and pet-friendly hotels. Before Timmy made his "red carpet debut" FOX-12 news anchor Kimberly Maus and I had a chance to chat with a few "celebrity" VIPs including Darcelle XV, Betty Norrie from Oregon Humane Society, Cupcakes Jones Lisa Watson, LexiDog Boutique owner Suzanne Hein, Oregonian pet columnist Jacques Von Lunen, "Georgie," Director of Pet Relations from Hotel Vintage Plaza, Bob Baskette from Travel Portland, Alex Sokol Blosser, and the wonderfully adorable "Art" the Monaco's former Director of Pet Relations who has retired to a life of leisure and tie-dye shirts.
