WITH THIS SELFIE: The wedding of Lisa Schroeder and Rob Sample was held on a summery Saturday night in the Grand Ballroom of the Sentinel Hotel in downtown Portland. And it was quite the wedding.
All the 400-plus guests were encouraged to wear white or off-white and (nearly) everyone followed the instructions giving the room a cloud-like, almost heavenly glow.
Speaking of glow, the bride, chef Lisa Schroeder of Mother's Bistro fame, looked absolutely radiant in a Michelle DeCourcy gown that evoked Elizabeth Taylor in the 1970's. She joined her groom, Rob Sample, under the chuppah where they were married by Mike Golub, Chief Operating Officer of the Portland Timbers, and an incredibly well spoken wedding officiant.
Music played a big part during the ceremony with a gospel choir, Sarah King and Jim Brunberg (who sang "She" from the film "Notting Hill") all sharing the stage.
"Selfie" also played a role in the ceremony too. The entire wedding party was asked to take a selfie during the vows and the hashtag was #schrample, a mix of Lisa and Rob's last names.
Speaking of names, the guest list was a who's who of Portland best, including one honorary Oregonian: "Grimm" actor/hottie Sasha Roiz who was joined at the wedding by his brother Elan.
Traditions were honored. Toasts were made. Chairs were lifted in the air. таблетки для потенции виагра - купить с доставкой
And late night music was made by a great dance band that goes by the name Eldridge Gravy & The Court Supreme.
Mazel and best wishes to the lovely couple! It only took you 17 years, but damn, it was well worth it.
