PEACOCK IS BACK! It's been ten long years since Portland's top drag queens and their devotees packed the amphitheater at Washington Park, but on Sunday afternoon...well...it felt like it all just happened yesterday.

Peacock in the Park picked up right where it left off a decade ago with an afternoon of star power, big lip synching, twerk-friendly dance moves and a whole lot of love packed into the Washington Park Amphitheater. And just like before, Emcees Poison Waters and Maria Peters Lake—who inherited the gig from the much missed Lady Elaine Peacock—held court over a capacity crowd and a crowded roster of performers that had to be at least 25 acts strong.

Everybody was there, including Misha Rockefeller who was one of the shining stars of the previous Peacocks and made a triumphant return to the stage on Sunday. All in all, it was a lovely afternoon spent with a group of amazing performers backed by incredible dancers. And there wasn't even a drop of rain. Oh yes, Peacock in the Park is definitely back. Can't wait until next year!
