PORTLAND IS TASTY: On Tuesday night , Share our Strength’s 27th annual Taste of the Nation® brought together Portland’s culinary community to raise money to fight childhood hunger, preparing dishes around the theme of “What My Family Ate.”
The event took place at McMenamins Crystal Ballroom in downtown Portland from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with both General and VIP admission.
Taste of the Nation Portland raises critical funds to support Share Our Strength's mission, and 100 percent of ticket sales support Share Our Strength’s efforts to end childhood hunger. Local beneficiaries for Taste of the Nation Portland include Oregon Food Bank, Partners for a Hunger Free Oregon, St. Vincent DePaul Society, and Klamath/Lake Counties Food Bank.
