Sam Adams, Mary Breslin Nichols, Mary on the bar at Radio Room and the crowd gathered for Love Bomb
LOVE IN THE ROOM: Mary Breslin Nichol's LOVE BOMB, on Thursday, February 13th, at Radio Room was a party to celebrate people who make Portland rock. It was also a night to raise money for Oregon United for Marriage because, as Mary says, "everyone deserves to show their love and commitment through marriage!"
Every person Mary invited was chosen because they are doing awesome things in their lives and for Portland. Attendees included Mayor Charlie Hales and First Lady Nancy Hales, former Mayor Sam Adams, marketers, politicos, designers, fashionistas, fabricators, foodies, artisans, entrepreneurs, non-profit peeps and small business owners.
There was a raffle too, with a chance to win some great items from some of Mary's favorite local businesses: Radio Room, Anne Bocci Boutique, Adorn, Union Rose, Folly, La Vie Nutritional Therapy, Grand Central Bakery, Dick's Kitchen, Tabor Tavern, Dahl Style, Filmed By Bike, and White Bird Dance.
Radio Room donated 50-percent of sales from a special Love Bomb cocktail menu and 10-percent of all bar sales from the party to Oregon United for Marriage.
Mary, your "love bomb" really did rock the Radio Room and Portland! Congrats.
